They say it takes a village
Before the kids take the field, someone has already been there for them
Someone organised the team
Someone packed the kit
Someone planned the session, filled the water, checked the injuries, tied a boot, settled the nerves or offered a few quiet words before kick-off
Coaches. Managers. First aiders. Parents. Volunteers.
People who keep turning up—not because anyone is keeping score of the hours, but because they care about the kids, and they care about the game
We photographed a few of them during the final round of South West junior rugby
There are many more we didn't
To every person who gives their time, their knowledge and a little piece of themselves so another generation gets to play this great game:
Thank you for showing up
It takes a village
This is part of ours
