Last weekend we celebrated my cousin’s little one’s first birthday, and it was such a special day surrounded by family and friends. 💗

My talented cousin Florella — who made our wedding cake and all the beautiful floral arrangements for our wedding — created the sweetest birthday cake to match the “One Silly Goose” theme, along with delicious macarons and other beautiful treats. 🪿🎂

Little Sienna, the birthday girl, was on the go from beginning to end before eventually crashing for a well-earned nap! I loved photographing all her sweet little antics — from digging in (and tasting!) the soil, to climbing, watching bubbles float by, and wandering happily from person to person. Those wonderfully curious and carefree moments of childhood are always so special to photograph. ✨

A stunning new space dedicated to helping women feel seen, heard, and supported on their health journey 🌷

My beautiful friend, Dr Michaela Louw, recently asked me to photograph her new functional medicine practice in Somerset West, with a special focus on women’s hormone health 💗

It is such a lovely, bright, and welcoming space, and Dr Louw brings a wealth of knowledge, along with such genuine care and passion for her patients. I have no doubt they will feel immediately at ease, supported, and cared for in her presence ✨

It was such a privilege photographing the Kruger family. I’ve known them for many years, and both of their beautiful children were in my class, which made this session even more special 💛

I especially loved being able to capture moments with grandparents on both sides — these are the kinds of memories that can be captured in time, yet treasured for a lifetime.

Set beneath the beautiful Helderberg mountains, I had the joy of capturing my very first engagement shoot.

Leilanie and Meyer were absolute naturals in front of the camera—I hardly needed to guide them, just offering a few gentle prompts here and there. Their love for each other is so evident, and it was such a privilege to witness it firsthand and hear the story of how they met.

It was the perfect day—calm, windless, and filled with sunshine—ending in the most beautiful golden hour glow. I loved every minute of this shoot.

Set beneath the beautiful Helderberg mountains, I had the joy of capturing my very first engagement shoot.
