Odette Gaud Photography Photography I am a girl who lived on an Island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean for 10 lonely long years. To survive I had to have a dream.

This was to make photography my career, instead I fell in love with this medium again and learn’t so much. Thus giving me the confidence to go out and shoot my friends wedding. Everybody loved the the work I created. That was the beginning and since then I have not looked back. I arrived in Cape Town (I call this the real world) in September 2011, I was basically a refugee. I arrived in Cape Town

with a few clothes and you guessed my camera stuff. To earn an extra income what better way than to exploit my passion. My passion has always been photography. I do believe that this art form talks for itself. I believe my photographs will say what I am trying to get across. This is a medium that needs no words. My Images are my voice and they will capture your Magical Moments forever. These Magical Moments captured will be enjoyed by you for many years to come, thus creating those special memories unique to your family. I am an on-location, Portrait/Wedding photographer serving the Western Cape area. I find all of human life fascinating, which is why I don’t like to restrict my services to one kind of photography. I am as happy shooting the Magical Moments of a child’s life, as I am shooting adult portraits but I do also so love to capture a bride and groom on their special day. This for me is special. You are allowed to witness somebody else’s special moments. I started out by shooting for my own pleasure now it has become my life and I can’t wait to get to work. Although I am not primarily a wedding photographer I love being able to play such an important part on somebody’s special day. I also create websites to show off your photographs to family and friends. I also do Engagement and Trash the dress portraits. These kind of photo sessions are still a relatively new concept, but they can be such a fun way of marking the two occasions!
