Living in a complex world, things aren’t always as they seem.

Are trees actually pink? In infrared light—the spectrum our eyes can’t see—they reflect wavelengths that can be mapped as pink or red in certain images. It makes you wonder what else remains hidden in a world we’ve come to accept as normal.

4 year old film, finally developed.

One thing I love about shooting film is the moment when you get to develop it. I’ve had these rolls in my fridge for over a year, waiting patiently to be processed. It’s intentional to let them sit for a while because the anticipation of not knowing what I’ve shot is my favourite part of the process.

Tomorrow might be the day I say goodbye to my Audi A3.

This car has been an absolute blast to own—reliable, fun to drive, and barely needed any work. The only change I made was swapping out the original wheels for something more my style, and it was perfect.

So, why am I considering selling it? Well, the aircon never worked. When I bought it, I thought it just needed a regas, but it turned out the compressor was seized—a repair that costs almost half the value of the car.

With plans to hit the road more this year, driving a car without aircon in Cape Town’s summer heat is… let’s just say, not ideal.

I hope the next owner loves this car as much as I did. Oh, and one more thing—it’s time for a turbo in my life. 😂
