What many won't know about me is that I served in the defence Force from 1983 to 1988 as a Submariner on the SAS Johanna van der Merwe.She was then renamed SAS Assegai and has been turned into a Museum in Simonstown. This was taken this morning of SAS Manthatisi, our current class of Diesel Attack Submarines.
