Got out yesterday after hearing that this spot was firing - and firing it was!! I think this is one of the most perfect looking waves I have ever shot - so groomed - Almonds from heaven

Been ages since my last post here - why? Simple - I just have not been shooting. Lack of surf and a waning passion has seen me not bother to get out there. I guess the surf conditions have had a big influence on it though - or so i thought.

Made the trip down to Dunes yesterday - weaving my way through road closures due to the Argus cycle tour and then the 30 minutes walk down the beach. There were quite a few guys out - different peaks offering decent 3 - 4 foot waves but I struggled to muster up the energy and enthuisiasm to try and get lekker shots. In short I just wasn't feeling it. Hopefully this mindset will change - maybe a really good session will get my mojo up and running again :)

And again - been very slack posting material to my surf page - Spent some time going through archives , cleaning up drives and looking at material previously unshared. I dont want to "just take surfing shots" - I work toward taking images that will draw people in - appeal to even non surfers using the colours and light etc. I guess I am waffling on a bit - hope you get what I am trying to say - lol.
