The STERG post graduate research group is part of the engineering department at the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa. They were in need of showcasing what they do in a visual way by means of a promo video, using photos and videos that they have on file. This is what we came up with.

Spring time arrived in the Western Cape winelands, and so did the annual CY Market held by the Stoneshed on a farm just outside the scenic Durbanville town.

As always, expectations were met and fun was to be had for all age groups with enough items to browse in all the tents and stalls as well as a wide variety of food and drinks to keep the visitors going.

Every year the CY Market offers unique, creative and exclusive products that is a feast for the eyes and this year was no different. Please have a look for yourself and enjoy the video.

Herewith a small preview of the winter wedding of Jacques and Telani in Naaldwijk that proved to be one fantastic and very special day that I was very glad and honored to be part of. The Dutch weather miraculously played along very well and gave us the chance to capture this gentleman and his bride celebrating this stepping stone in their new life together as husband and wife. It was a momentous day when Cosmetics handed over a cheque of €220 000 to and to help with the fight against /Aids in Africa and against sexual violence. The proceeds were raised by the sales of Mac’s Viva Glam Lipstick range that raises money for HIV/Aids campaign groups. This special event was hosted by the Mac cosmetics store and was accompanied by a live DJ, refreshments and make up workshops for the guests.

It is no secret that Switzerland can be called a "postcard" country and there is no shortage to beautiful colour photos of the amazing sights there is to see. Although I took my fair share of these photos, I thought I'd also create a selection of Black & White photos to capture Switzerland without its colours and only focus on the interesting subject matter which I encountered along the way.
