Graduating is a pretty big deal… but graduating alongside your daughter is a completely different kind of special!🤍

Charlene and Janell got to celebrate this incredible milestone together, surrounded by the people who love them most. After all the hard work, late nights and I’m sure a little bit of stress 😅, they finally got to walk across that finish line together.

What a beautiful reminder of God’s goodness and faithfulness.

Part 1 🖤

Anyone who knows me well, knows that I still stress hectically before any photoshoot, but this one was a whole different level of stress!🤣 Charlise was very specific about the style she wanted, and it was something I hadn’t dabbled in much…or at all, before this day.🫣

But with much prayer and planning, it turned out to be such a lovely time with Charlise & Cecil! We laughed, we spoke and just winged every single shot, it turned out to be a wonderful challenge!☺️🥹

What a privilege it is to be able to capture these special memories for a mom and dad getting ready to fall in love with their little one for a lifetime.🥰

Baby Sias is already one very loved little boy. 🥹🤍

What a beautiful day celebrating Michelle and sweet little Sias. So much thought, effort and love went into making the day special for her, it was really so lovely to witness. There was definitely no shortage of pretty details, happy tears and people who are very excited to meet the little lyfie on the way. 🧸✨

I may have been there to take the photos, but I definitely left feeling like I’d been spoilt too. 😂🤍

Most of all, what a privilege it is to celebrate a little life that is already so wonderfully known and loved by the Lord. May His hand be firmly over baby Sias, protecting him, guiding him and going before him every step of the way. 🙏🏻🤍

Daar is mense wat opdaag vir ’n fotosessie… en dan is daar Zel-Mari. 🤍

Van die eerste boodskap af was dit duidelik sy het alles mooi beplan. Sy het al die regte vrae gevra, aan alles gedink en soveel moeite gedoen om seker te maak die fotosessie verloop seepglad. As elke kliënt so voorbereid was, sou my werk sommer gevaarlik maklik gewees het! 😉

Maar wat hierdie sessie regtig besonders gemaak het, was nie net die goeie beplanning nie. Dit was die voorreg om vir Zel-Mari en Herko te ontmoet, te hoor van hulle werk, hulle drome en die mooi planne wat hulle saam vir die toekoms maak.

Dit het gevoel soos ’n middag saam met ou vriende, net met ’n kamera tussenin. Dankie dat julle my deel gemaak het van hierdie spesiale tyd in julle lewens. Ek wens vir julle net die mooiste hoofstukke wat nog voorlê. 🤍

Years from now, these photographs won’t simply remind you of what everyone looked like. They’ll remind you of who you were together.

They’ll bring back the sound of laughter that echoed so freely, the feeling of little hands reaching for yours, the comfort of an embrace that said more than words ever could, and the quiet joy of being surrounded by the people who made life feel whole.

Time has a gentle way of turning today’s ordinary moments into tomorrow’s most treasured memories. The little things we barely notice now often become the very things we long to remember.

That’s why photographs matter so deeply. They hold onto the moments our hearts were never meant to keep on their own. They become a way of returning, if only for a moment, to the love, the connection, and the beautiful season of life that was unfolding right before our eyes.

This cozy little bakery has completely stolen my heart!

Working with Joané and her incredible team is always such a treat. This shoot was all about the cookies (a job description I can fully support 🍪), but I also got to see her gorgeous new signage… and seeing my photos proudly displayed up there was SUCH a “pinch me” moment.🥹

Also how pretty are her new statement flowers by Appelliefies!🌼

Anyway…enjoy! If you need me, I’ll be over here pretending I came for the photography and not the cookies. 😉
