When I reflect on my photography journey, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for how faithful Jesus has been through every season. What started as a simple passion became something far bigger than I could have imagined — a calling that God gently placed in my hands and carried me through, even when I felt completely overwhelmed.

I did my very first newborn shoot when I was about four months pregnant, not realizing what was ahead of me. Building a business while raising a toddler and preparing for a newborn pushed me in ways I never expected. There were long days, sleepless nights, moments of doubt, and seasons where I questioned if I was capable of carrying it all. It was hard work in every sense of the word.

But looking back now, all I can see is the grace of God woven through every moment. There is simply no other way to explain how everything came together except through His strength and faithfulness. Jesus sustained me when I was tired, gave me passion when I felt empty, and reminded me why I started in the first place.

One thing this journey has taught me is that when you truly love something and God has placed it on your heart, the sacrifice becomes worth it. Passion gives purpose to the hard seasons, and faith gives you the courage to keep going even when you’re scared.

So if you’re in a difficult season right now, don’t give up. God often does His deepest refining in the hardest moments. The process may stretch you, test you, and make you question yourself — but when He moves in your life, nothing stays the same.

Take the leap. Work hard. Trust God. Do it in faith, and do it scared if you have to. God’s got you ♥️
