Some people see a camera.
I found a piece of myself.
Somehow, the moment I pick it up, the world slows down. I notice the little things most people walk past. The way the light falls across the ocean. A genuine smile. A quiet glance. The beauty that already exists, waiting for someone to notice it.
Photography has taught me to see differently.
It's reminded me that even on the days when I'm tired, unmotivated, or running low, creating still brings life back into me. Every photo I take carries time, patience, love, and a piece of my heart. Every gallery tells a story that deserves to be remembered.
To my fellow photographers: don't forget why you started. Don't let the pressure, the editing, the long hours, or the comparison steal the joy that first made you fall in love with creating. Your work matters more than you know.
And to every client who has trusted me with your memories... thank you. It will never be something I take for granted.
Most importantly, I do this for the One who gave me this passion in the first place. Every click of the shutter is another reminder that God is the greatest Creator, and it's an honour to reflect even a small glimpse of His beauty through my lens. 🤍
I'm currently taking a short break and enjoying some time away with family while soaking in the beauty of Port Elizabeth. I'll be replying to messages, confirming bookings, and sharing the photos I've been taking as soon as I can.
I'll officially be back on 25 July, and I can't wait to create with you again. Until then... thank you for your patience and your support. It truly means more than you know. 📸🌊🤍
