A quiet moment with Joshua.

Sometimes a portrait isn’t about the expression, but about the moment behind it — a pause, a thought, a place the mind wanders to.

I loved the way the light and bokeh framed this moment, so I kept it simple and let the photograph speak for itself.

I saw the sunset, grabbed my camera, and asked my sister to step outside for a minute.

No big setup. No planned shoot. Just a few quick portraits before the light disappeared — and somehow, it turned into one of my favourite little shoots. Sometimes the best photographs are the ones you never planned. 🌅

Little Moments, Big Curiosity 🇷🇺

Some of the most memorable moments from Chelyabinsk weren’t found in the city itself, but in the people I met along the way.

These photographs capture a little of the curiosity, calmness and wonder I saw in the children I had the privilege of photographing. Different language, different culture, different surroundings—but the same sense of curiosity that makes childhood so special.

Photography has a way of reminding me that, despite how different our worlds can look, there is so much that connects us.

A week I’ll never forget. 🇷🇺📸

From representing South Africa at the 2nd International Youth Photographers Festival “No Frames” in Chelyabinsk, to meeting incredible young photographers from around the world, this trip was so much more than photography.

It was a week of new friendships, new perspectives, unforgettable experiences, and memories I’ll carry with me for years to come.

A huge thank you to the Eurasia Photographic Association’s video team for capturing the week so beautifully. Watching this video brings it all back. ❤️

Chasing the last light. 🎈🌅

There’s something unforgettable about watching the world wake up from above—balloons drifting silently across the sky as the first light spills over the mountains.

For a few moments, everything feels still. No noise. No rush. Just the landscape, the rising sun, and the feeling of being incredibly small in a world this beautiful.

Some moments are worth getting up early for.

Some conversations don’t need words.

A quiet street, a weathered bronze figure, and a stranger sharing the same bench—separated by decades, yet united in a single frame. Street photography has a way of turning ordinary moments into stories, inviting us to imagine the lives, memories, and histories that intersect for just a fraction of a second.

Sometimes the most powerful images aren’t staged. They’re simply noticed.

“The Earth without art is… eh.”

That line has always stayed with me.

To me, art is more than something we create, it’s how we share the beauty we see. It’s how we preserve fleeting moments, tell stories without words, and inspire others to slow down and appreciate the world around them.

These photographs are my way of saying, look how incredible our planet really is.

If even one image makes someone care a little more about nature, then every click of the shutter was worth it. 🌍💚
