Plot twist: what started as a quick selfie with the sea turned into the full Robberg Trail. 😅

Did I read the boards? No.
Did I know what I was getting into? Absolutely not.
Did my battery die on the way back? Of course it did.

But the seals, the cliffs, the solitude and the sheer stubbornness that got me through made this one of the most unexpectedly rewarding days I've had in a long time.

Sometimes you don't choose the adventure. The adventure chooses you. 🐾🌊

Goals don't chase themselves. 🌊

A year ago I set an intention. This morning I honoured it, back in the open water with the Gqeberha Open Sea Swim Club. Beyond the Pier. Past Barneys. Toward the Radisson. And back.

Just me, the Indian Ocean, and a goal I refused to let go of.

Some goals are loud. Some are quiet.
This one was mine.

And today, I ticked it. 💪🏽
