Porsche 993 Carrera RS Clubsport Ā· 1 of 227 worldwide Ā· the last air-cooled RS

Lined up alongside its siblings, this 993 Carrera RS Clubsport is one of the rarest and most desirable 911s ever built. Just 227 examples left the factory, making it a true holy grail for Porsche collectors, and a fitting send-off for the air-cooled era. The 993 was the final air-cooled 911 generation, and the RS Clubsport sits right at the top of that lineage.

Power comes from a 3.8-litre air-cooled flat-six producing 300 hp, sent through a close-ratio manual gearbox with no driver aids to soften the experience. The Clubsport spec stripped things back even further than the standard RS: lighter weight, a stiffer suspension setup, and an optional roll cage for those who wanted to take it to the track exactly as Porsche intended.

This is the car serious Porsche people talk about in hushed tones. It represents the last of a breed before water-cooling took over, built in numbers small enough that finding one in this condition, in this colour, is genuinely rare.
