📷 There’s a cool story behind this photoshoot. . .

My boyfriend has been serving a local high school in South Africa since January through YWAM. Somehow, he got to talking to one of the students about me and it came up that she’d been wanting a photographer for their “Matrix Farewell” dance. By that time it was already in motion for me to come from Lancaster to South Africa in August. I would be around to take her photos in September!

We connected and voilá ✨ a super vintage high school prom photoshoot emerged!

God is so fun in how he connects people all across the world, even for a sweet moment like this.

Currently, I am in the heat of summer in South Africa and missing the cooler weather for sure.

So I thought it was fitting to do a throwback post of a senior session I did this past summer in Lanc.

Is it just me or do these photos give such fall, Star Girl vibes?✨📚🍂

Well hey there 👋🏻 it’s been a minute!

First of all, can we just take a moment to look at + 😍 by beautiful friends!

Fun fact:: last summer we all went on a road trip (plus ) to California, just as friends, no one was dating, and now here we are 😉🥹

In other news! I’m wanting to pop on and share that in August I will be traveling to South Africa until November ✈️🇿🇦

The Lord has asked me to go and be a part of a leadership and communications school with .southafrica 😜

Super fun and exciting! I’m believing this will be significant to my calling in reach the lost in my generation!

This school will further equip and catalyze me as a leader to disciple and be a voice to my generation and the generations to come, empowering them for the purposes of God. ❤️‍🔥

With that, I will not be booking any sessions until I return :(

I truly have loved serving you all in this business and seeing the Lord use it 😊

I plan to continue pursuing creative avenues as I also feel called to the media/arts sphere of society! I believe God has a beautiful plan of redemption for creativity 🤩

Hey friends! 👋🏻 Happy Saturday —

I’m sorry for being late on this update but here it is. . .

So without further ado I’d like to explain what my business may look like over the next 5 months :)

*drum roll please*

I’m moved back with YWAM Lancaster this past week to begin an internship. I will be helping to pioneer initiatives that YWAM Lancaster feels called to build. I will be specifically helping with their Communications ministry and with the youth in the region.

During this internship I will be spending lots of time in prayer and seeking the Lord, leading, and serving. I am excited to continue dreaming, creating, and partnering with Jesus to see the Gospel go forth.

❗️Why am I doing this? — My heart burns for the youth/GenZ in the region of Lancaster and all across America!

🙌🏻 I believe God has called me to disciple and be a voice to my generation and the generations to come, equipping them for the purposes of God. My desire is to partner with the Lord and see The Great Commission fulfilled in my lifetime.

Business will look like, whenever I have free time I hope to do a few sessions here and there. My main focus will be on the internship until August, but if you’ve been wanting to work with me, reach out (on my website) and let’s talk! 😊 I’m trusting the Lord with this dream of a photography business and also my calling to be a part of He is doing in Lancaster. I am now officially OUT OF OFFICE until March 2022 ✌🏻

Thanks for all the fun times over the past 7 months. This biz has truly been a blessing - Thanks Lord 🙌🏻

I’m off to do a Discipleship Bible School with YWAM Lancaster where I will be studying the The Word and growing deeper in my relationship with Jesus. To say I’m stocked in an understatement.

I’ll be back in the Spring, but right now I’m signing off.
