✨ The 2026/2027 wedding season started with a BANG. ✨
What a weekend. Three days, two pre-wedding shoots, our first wedding of the new season — and over 460 km and 7 hours of travelling between locations. 🚗💨
Friday: We kicked things off with Kayla & Jade at Le Pommier, capturing some golden-hour magic for their pre-wedding shoot. We first met these two at a friend’s wedding last October, so getting to spend time with them again felt a little like catching up with old friends. And honestly, that’s one of the things we love most about these sessions — getting to know our couples beyond the wedding day and creating space for genuine, relaxed moments together. ✨
Saturday: Our first wedding of the season! 🥂
While we can't share images from the day as our couple chose to keep their wedding private, we can say this: our bride was an absolute vision, and the day delivered some spectacular skies. ☁️
The clouds rolled in and threatened to bring rain, but somehow the weather held off just long enough for us to complete their portraits before the rain finally arrived. Perfect timing. 🤍
Sunday: We headed to Suné & Hendrik’s family farm outside Riebeek Kasteel for their pre-wedding shoot ahead of their March 2027 wedding.
Canola fields in full bloom. Orange orchards. Dramatic clouds. Mountain views. Scattered rain showers. And, perhaps most special of all, a canola field planted by Hendrik himself. 🌼
Our couples really do take us to the most incredible places — and we feel incredibly lucky to document these little chapters of their stories along the way.
460+ km. 7 hours on the road. 3 unforgettable days. And the first weekend of a brand-new wedding season. 🤍
The 2026/2027 season is officially underway, and if this weekend is anything to go by… we're in for one beautiful year. 🥂✨
