But how can I grow when I struggle to feed.

Look into my eyes and tell me what you see.
Like my peers I just wanna be happy, but what's the fee?
My whole life I've never been happy, should I put it on my pedigree?

If I'm gonna grow right it need your manly influence.
But how can that be if all I get is your absence?
Your lack of provision is choking my innocence.
