The world is brighter with these smiles and in the heart of this village in the Tsangano District, Tete, Mozambique, these kids find true happiness amongst eachother. 🇲🇿

While on assignment for Loyola Productions with shooting a documentary, we went to a church in this area and I saw these kids who really wanted a photo. Despite being extremely poor, they had some of the brightest and most content smiles I've seen in a while 😆

A very common sight throughout the whole of Zambia - Mobile Money Booths. 💸🇿🇲

Airtel money booths, in particular, make money when customers come to deposit or withdraw money from their Airtel money accounts on their phones. 📲

The key is to ideally have a booth an area where there is a lot of traffic in order to maximise on the profits. 🤑

"Perspective" 🛤

A man on a mission to get home along the Kafue Railway Bridge which was built to carry the Livingstone to Lusaka railway line in what is now Zambia over the Kafue River in 1906.

It is an incredible steel truss bridge of 13 segments, each of 33 meters supported on concrete piers?! It was built for Mashonaland Railways, which later merged into Rhodesian Railways which operated the line from 1927 until succeeded by Zambia Railways in 1966.

"Softly the evening came with the sunset." – Henry Wadsworth Longfellow 🌅

This is undoubtedly one of my most favorite silhouette images to date. On a late, gentle afternoon, this fisherman was out casting his net for the night on the Kasisi Dam. 🐟

Kasisi Mission has initiated agricultural and livelihood programs to help local communities become self-sufficient. This includes training in sustainable farming practices and income-generating activities. The Mission also serves as a center for religious activities, including Catholic worship, retreats, and spiritual development programs. 🇿🇲✝️
