KARIBA HAWKS FC: WHERE FOOTBALL MEETS COMMUNITY 🦅⚽🌊
Based in the resort town of Kariba
Founded as a social soccer team, Kariba Hawks FC is more than just 11 players on a pitch. It is a movement built on friendship, travel, and the belief that football can bring people together.
In a few short years since it was founded in 2020,the club has grown locally and across borders.
1. International Football: They have hosted and played games in Zambia, building brotherhood across the border.
2. Touring Zimbabwe: Their boots have touched fields and places from Nyanga National Park and Vumba Mountains, to the ancient stones of Great Zimbabwe, to Ngezi Mhondoro, Kadoma, and GWEBI College (etc)
3. Kariba: The Home of Football Tourism: Every month, teams from all over Zimbabwe and Zambia travel to Kariba just to play us. They come for the football, and they stay for the lake, the views, and the hospitality.
For us, every game is an opportunity.
An opportunity to network.
An opportunity to promote Kariba as a sports tourism destination.
An opportunity to develop players, and to create lasting friendships beyond the 90 minutes.
The Kariba Hawks are proud to put Kariba on the football map. When teams visit us, they don’t just play a match they experience our town, our culture, and our spirit.
