Repost We build homes, carry memories, and live in the present but somewhere, in the quiet corners of our minds, we are always longing for a place, a person, a moment.This installation is a visual expression of that invisible ache.
A compact room, suspended in time, where a live figure sits turned away, staring at frames that echo the very space they occupy a room within a room, a memory within a memory.
Longing captures that quiet, persistent pause that lives in all of us especially those far from home. It’s not about what’s missing, but the feeling of something once held,still present in absence.

Created by Tejal Patni, visual artist and storyteller known for his cinematic, hyperreal style. An Airlines Game Changer, and one of ’s global anniversary artists, Tejal’s work explores identity, memory, and emotional stillness. Since 2024, his immersive art concept Vichitra has come to life in India through powerful exhibitions at and the revered .
Longing is his newest chapter an emotional space made visible.
