For a few weeks each year, Dubai turns red.
We spent days searching for the perfect Flame Trees. By the end of the evening, sweat was running down my back and the kids were breathless from running back and forth.
Then, everything just fell into place.
A magnificent Flame Tree. Three children completely lost in play. Two Emirati women walking by, deep in conversation, unaware they had just become part of the photograph.
For me, that’s Dubai.
Connection.
Life.
Different stories crossing paths for just a moment.
And the surprising nature that leaves me amazed.
This is my entry for the Flame Tree Season Photography Competition.
