A wise woman once threw away all her masks and said:
"F@ this s**t!"
And lived happily ever after.

You could show 10 photographers the same location, and end up with 50 different shots and perspectives.

Because we're all looking for that elusive angle and point of view. And I saw that again today. It has been a productive Sunday. A walk in the park, quite literally. Met with a bunch of amazing fellow- Instagrammers as part of the .

And their perspectives and interpretations were just fantastic.

As someone who dabbles in photography every now and then (purely as a hobbyist, okay, enthusiast), I always find myself torn between wanting to capture Nature in all her glory in her elements and magnificent (and sometimes complex and slightly offbeat) human-constructed structures.

On one hand, nature brings this incredible mix of purity, serenity and awestruck wonder. On the other, some manmade structures are nothing short of an architectural masterpiece.

And then you have moments, like these, where the simplicity of the architecture perfectly complements the 'living' nature of our planet. In some ways, I hope it won't be too audacious of me to say, that in a surprise twist, we provide the canvas, and nature delivers the perfect artwork.

It's not always about the view from the top;
Sometimes, it is the view from down below that gives a whole new perspective on things.

Location: The London Eye. Perhaps one of the most photographed locations ever. But, you can always find a new angle to things.

Even the tiniest light offers us some warmth and comfort. However, to truly appreciate the light, we need that little bit of darkness.

It is said that we have both light and darkness inside all of us.

We just need to decide which way to flick the switch.

One of the things I enjoy the most about is that there is this element of unpredictability in it. Of course, it's there during the day too, but the setup changes drastically during the night. One of the biggest myths that I've had around photographing things at night is the need for some really complicated equipment. Of course, state-of-the-art stuff helps, but if you know your camera basics, you can capture some amazing stuff. Sometimes even using just your smartphone these days. This capture had just a basic on a . Nothing fancy - even the lens was a kit lens. The only criteria I had was that I needed the moon in focus. The rest of the things just automatically fell into place.

The thing with any form of is that when the performers are so good, you almost feel mesmerised by their flawless movements and then feel ridiculously insecure when you know you've got two left feet and cannot dance to even save your life.

Of course, the plus side is that it's an art form that is capable of 'moving' (yes, pun intended) even the most reluctant dancers.
Or in my case, 'stationary' person.

The other plus for all of you is that you'll never see me dance. :)

Sunsets are usually great at taking your breath away. And then once in a while, when you are in 'God's Own Country', you chance upon absolutely classic ones like these. Stunning orange skies, the shadows of the thick forest of trees in the background and a boatman navigating the serene backwaters. Truly gorgeous.
