Slate-throated Redstart (Myioborus miniatus) in Peru. This one was in and out of the shrubs along the path way. This one would appear briefly for a few seconds and then change position or hide in the bush. It took quite a while to get this shot.

Horned Screamer (Anhima cornuta) from Peru. This bird was sitting somewhere in the plants around us as we waded in the lake. It flew all of a sudden and took us all by surprise. I had the camera trained at the ground level looking for birds on the ground / shores. I sem to have managed to swing the camera swiftly and caught the bird in flight overhead.
