My studio for the next two weeks working on an exhibition. I’m very grateful for the invitation and the opportunity to think more deeply about the work and ways to exhibit it.

A book I started during Winter residency that I finished this week. A book of lumen and cyanolumen test pieces. The test pieces are 5x4 inches and the book is 5.5x4.5x2 inches.

Testing is the foundation of my work - without it I would create unrepeatable chaos - so this book is also representative of the origin and is my belated entry into the for January - Origin.

Some of the cyanotypes I made during - some during session 1, others during the truncated session 2 (thanks ice storm!)
I don’t know what made me use a cyanotype as a negative in the darkroom but I quickly became obsessed! Maybe I’ll get back to that someday.

All my work from the residency is still in transit so I haven’t been able to continue work on the books I started, but hey, looks like it’ll arrive tomorrow so more images to come over the weekend!
