🌦️ Sol y lluvia. Los paisajes con luces y sombras me encantan, y cuando las nubes se ponen curiosas, me parece un espectáculo hermoso! La tierra desolada, la inmensidad, la belleza innata del paisaje...(suspiro)... Me trasmite paz y a su vez un sentido de humildad: me hace sentir insignificante. Los problemas ya no importan, son temporales, todo sigue su rumbo natural. Mi cabeza se pone a filosofar profundo.

🌦️ Sun and rain. I love the landscapes with lights and shadows, and when the clouds get funny, I find it beautiful! The desolate land, the immensity, the innate beauty of the landscape ... (sigh) ... It gives me peace and at the same time a sense of humility: it makes me feel insignificant. Problems no longer matter, they are temporary, everything follows its natural course. My head starts to philosophize deeply.

🌧️ Día lluvioso en Hornocal. El día estaba maravilloso, algunas nubes se acercaban, pero el horizonte presagiaba tormenta. Fuimos afortunados en poder ver el cerro de catorce colores soleado y el paisaje pintado por sol y nubes. La lluvia traía su embriagador perfume a tierra mojada... a la vuelta, un paisaje plomizo, con las nubes tan pegadas al suelo que apenas se veía la lluvia.

✔️ Un dato: muy rara vez llueve en la quebrada, y cuando lo hace, lo hace de noche. .......................

🌧️ Rainy day in Hornocal. The day was wonderful, some clouds were approaching, but the horizon foreshadowed a storm. We were fortunate to be able to see the sunny hill of fourteen colors and the landscape painted by sun and clouds. The rain brought its intoxicating perfume to wet land ... around the corner, a leaden landscape, with the clouds so close to the ground that you could hardly see the rain.

✔️ A fact: it very rarely rains in the area, and when it does, it does so at night.

El Pucará de Tilcara cuenta con un monumento en lo más alto de la loma. Los investigadores expresan sin tapujos cuánto les desagrada: el monumento rompe la arquitectura típica con una pirámide trunca que nada tiene que ver con los primeros habitantes, ni con la cultura inca, en homenaje a los primeros investigadores.
A mí me gusta ver a los cardones como manos exponiendo sus dedos mayores hacia la pirámide, en obvio descontento. Entre la actitud y las espinas, inspiran respeto.....................
The Pucará of Tilcara has a monument at the top of the hill. The researchers openly express how much they dislike it: the monument breaks the typical architecture with a truncated pyramid that has nothing to do with the first inhabitants, nor with the Inca culture, in homage to the first researchers.
I like to see the cardones as hands exposing their elder fingers towards the pyramid, in obvious discontent. Between attitude and thorns, they inspire respect.

Colores, texturas... Formas simples, a veces complejas... Jujuy llenó mis ojos de increíbles paisajes. Los viví como de película, los recorrí como parte de una aventura, maravillándome a cada paso. Aquí unos segundos del camino hacia Inca Cueva. (Para la próxima: filmar de verdad sería un excelente aporte 🤣)

Colors, textures ... Simple shapes, sometimes complex ... Jujuy filled my eyes with incredible landscapes. I lived them like a movie, I went through them as part of an adventure, marveling at every step. Here a few seconds of the way to Inca Cueva. (For the next time: filming for real would be an excellent contribution 🤣)

🌵 Cuando la naturaleza te hace f*you 🤣. En el Pucará de Tilcara se aprecian las ruinas arqueologicas de lo que alguna vez fue un asentamiento preincaico, luego llegaron los Incas a darle su impronta a la zona, y luego los restauradores modernos, que acomodaron todo como les pareció que debió haber sido. Este Cardón (que en Buenos Aires le diríamos "cactus", pero no!) parece mostrarnos su opinión sobre todo lo acontecido 😁.........................

In the Pucará of Tilcara you can see the archaeological ruins of what was once a pre-Inca settlement, then the Incas came to put their own stamp, and then the modern restorers, who arranged everything as they thought it should have been. 🚌RN9 - Inca Cueva. Aquí nos dejó el colectivo... En el medio de la nada misma, al costado de la ruta, con la promesa de volver por la tarde. Acostumbrada a organizar mis viajes sin detalles al azar, dejar mi regreso a cargo de un sistema desconocido, de una persona desconocida, en un ambiente desconocido, sin señal de teléfono me generó fuerte inquietud. No había carteles ni tráfico alguno. Sólo un paisaje hermoso. Qué difícil dejarse llevar. Por suerte, todo salió bien. 😄........................
🚌National Route 9 - Inca Cave. Here the bus left us ... In the middle of nowhere, on the side of the road, with the promise of returning in the afternoon. I'm used to organizing my trips carefully without random details, leaving my return in charge of an unknown system, an unknown person, in an unknown environment, without a telephone signal, caused me great concern. There were no signs, and no traffic. Just a beautiful landscape. How difficult to get carried away. Luckily, everything went well. 😄

Camino a Inca Cueva - Humahuaca - Jujuy. Mis pupilas andaban necesitanto colores!!!
La gente en Jujuy está orgullosa de sus raíces, y se esfuerza siempre por compartirla con los turistas de una manera inclusiva. Después de todo, la Madre Tierra es madre de todos, y todos debemos cuidarla. No distingue en qué provincia naciste, o si te gusta o no el folklore. ¡Tanto que aprender!

Mientras tanto, nuestros políticos se encuentran en este momento en la Conferencia de la ONU para el Cambio Climático. El resultado siempre es insuficiente en compromisos asumidos, tiempo e impacto. Nuestro granito de arena siempre será un ejemplo pero sólo los gobiernos, empresas e industrias podrán hacer diferencia. Pachamama, a veces me pone triste porque no hacemos suficiente. El cambio climático nos afecta a todos, no importa de qué país seas, no importa qué bandera política te identifique, y en este caso, tampoco importa si te gusta el folklore o no.

My pupils were in need of colors!!! People in Jujuy are proud of their roots, and they always strive to share it with tourists making you part of their culture and customs. After all, Mother Earth is the mother of all, and we must all take care of her. It does not distinguish in which province you were born, or whether or not you like folklore. So much to learn!

Meanwhile, our politicians are currently at the UN Climate Change Conference. The result is always insufficient in terms of commitments, time and impact. Our grain of sand will always be an example but only governments, companies and industries can make a difference. Pachamama, sometimes it makes me sad because we don't do enough. Climate change affects us all, no matter what country you are from, no matter what political flag identifies you, and in this case, it does not matter whether you like folklore or not.

🐎 ⛰️ Camino a Castillos de Huichaira - Jujuy
Un camino fantástico para ser apreciado con todos los sentidos. El problema era la agitación residual acumulada del viaje, y por supuesto, la falta de aire a estas alturas. Ir a caballo fue una excelente opción! Encontramos a nuestro guía que amablemente nos contó mucho sobre las costumbres locales y nos hizo pasar una hermosa tarde.
El paisaje es hermoso, y los cerros cambian sus formas hasta volverse torres empinadas que custodian el vuelo de los cóndores ante la mirada atónita del pequeño humano, siempre maravillado.

PD: nos habíamos asegurado de que los animales sean bien tratados por la empresa de guías.

🐎 ⛰️ On the way to Castles of Huichaira - Jujuy
A fantastic path to be appreciated with all the senses. The problem was the residual agitation accumulated from the trip, and of course, the lack of air at this heights. Going on horseback was an excellent option! We met our guide who kindly told us a lot about the local customs and made us spend a beautiful afternoon.
The landscape is beautiful, and the hills change their shapes until they become steep towers that guard the flight of the condors before the astonished gaze of the little human, always in awe.
PS: we had made sure that the animals are well treated by the guide company.

Inca cueva - paisaje surrealista. Formas simples, colores impactantes. Era cuestión de mirar un poquito más arriba, y allí se encontraban estás suaves colinas verdes custodiando el azul del cielo limpio de Jujuy. Mi acompañante dijo que se trataba de un tributo a los pechos femeninos 🤭... ¿Están de acuerdo?

A veces la fotografía minimalista no recibe crédito suficiente. Especialmente en redes sociales donde el interés se encuentra saturado por las complejidades del siglo XXI. Pero cada tanto me doy el gusto de volver a la belleza de lo simple. Esta foto para mí es una maravilla de la naturaleza, no puedo dejar de mirarla. El filtro polarizador siempre hace su magia, pero fuera de eso no hubo alteraciones.

Inca cave - surreal landscape. Simple shapes, stunning colors. It was a matter of looking a little higher, and there were these soft green hills guarding the blue of the clean sky of Jujuy. My companion said that it was a tribute to female breasts 🤭 ... Do you agree?

Sometimes minimalist photography doesn't get enough credit. Especially in social media where interest is saturated by the complexities of the 21st century. But every so often I indulge myself in returning to the beauty of simplicity. This photo for me is a wonder of nature, I can't stop looking at it. The polarizing filter always works its magic, but other than that there were no disturbances.

Inca cueva - así era el paisaje que encontré cuando llegué: montañas arco iris, caminos verdes, nubes esponjosas, cielo azul intenso. Aquí en mi foto el cielo se ve intensificado por el filtro polarizador, pero no era tan distinto!!! Me fascina encontrar lugares con belleza única, nuestro país es tan lindo ❤️

¿Qué lugar así, de esos que parecen mentira, conoces o te gustaría conocer?

Inca cave - this was the landscape I found when I arrived: rainbow mountains, green pathways, fluffy clouds, intense blue sky. Here in my photo the sky is intensified by the polarizing filter, but it was not so different! I am fascinated by finding places with unique beauty, our country is so beautiful ❤️

Inca Cueva - Jujuy. El cielo estaba increíblemente azul. La tierra de colores sorprendía en cada vuelta. Aquí, en el recodo de un río, este cerro hermoso decoraba el paisaje. Qué hermoso explorar! Post pandemia, mi cuerpo no estaba realmente en forma como para exigir el físico, así que este sendero se recorrió lento, midiendo cada paso, respirando a conciencia. Una oportunidad perfecta para contemplar la maravilla que me rodeaba.

Inca Cave - Jujuy. The sky was incredibly blue. The land of colors surprised at every turn. Here, at the bend of a river, this beautiful hill decorated the landscape. How beautiful to explore! Post-pandemic, my body was not really fit to stress my body, so this path was traveled slowly, measuring each step, breathing conscientiously. A perfect opportunity to contemplate the wonder that surrounded me.

Al Cerro de los 7 Colores le pidieron duplicar el esfuerzo, y así nació el Cerro de los 14 Colores 😅... Si, se llama así!!! El Hornocal es una serranía enorme y exageradamente vistosa.

🌞 Tip: por la tarde le da el sol de frente y se ve mejor.

🫁 Otro tip: llevá hojas de coca y caminá muy lento. No hay aire y llegar al mirador parece fácil, pero no lo es. Mi excitación por la llegada hizo que me baje del vehículo con un saltito... Inmediatamente después sentí mareo y no podía juntar fuerza para caminar. Respirar es inútil. El truco es ponerse en modo tortuga desde el minuto uno, no hablar rápido, no gritar, no agitar los brazos, no saltar... O conseguir un cuerpo sin pandemia encima 🤣

〰️ Bonus tip: subir en zig zag, aunque la subida sea suave. No importa, siempre en zig zag.

✔️ Ultimo tip: alrededor también hay paisajes bonitos, vale la pena ver los cerros circundantes.

🌞 Tip: in the afternoon the sun shines from the front and it looks better.

🫁 Another tip: take coca leaves and walk very slowly. There is no air and reaching the viewpoint seems easy, but it is not. My excitement at the arrival made me jump out of the vehicle ... Immediately afterwards I felt dizzy and could not gather strength to walk. Breathing is useless. The trick is to get into turtle mode from minute one, don't talk fast, don't yell, don't wave your arms, don't jump ... Or get a body with no pandemic effects 🤣

〰️ Bonus tip: climb in a zig zag, even if the climb is smooth. It does not matter, always in a zig zag.

✔️ Last tip: around there are also beautiful landscapes, it is worth seeing the surrounding hills.
