Spectral Roots

„Spectral Roots is an interactive installation linking 19th-century and contemporary extraction. A projected tree morphs into cables and mineral crystals, referencing Palaquium gutta, a nearly extinct tree extracted under colonial rule to insulate the first submarine telegraph cables, and the rare minerals in today‘s devices. The piece is traversed by wireless signals from devices in the space, which reshape transitions and reveal that the invisible is anchored to matter extracted from the earth.“

I filmed this sequence of Gustieles installation with an iPhone 17 pro on Wednesday 9th of September 2026 in Linz Austria.

A RAW BLOOM

I bought the flowers, but I am the branch.
No vase to hold me, no garden to tame.
I speak through the petal, and own my own name.

Moving beyond the sentiment of a gift, this series explores the radical act of self-nurture. It is a visual dialogue between the organic and the individual—where the bloom is not an accessory, but a voice. From the grip of the bark to the direct gaze behind the petal, these images capture a state of becoming: wild, unpolished, and entirely self-owned.

…ganz normale Menschen für pure ehrliche wertschätzende Fotografien mit viel Persönlichkeit und ohne Kleidung. Ich möchte euch echt, unperfekt, verletzlich und liebenswert fotografieren, einfach wie ihr wirklich seid.

Geeignete Aufnahmen sollten für Ausstellungen verwendet werden dürfen.
