Canada – Day 18 & 19: Toronto 🇨🇦

So much to discover in this city! Yesterday was mostly about getting here, checking into our hotel and doing some groceries. In the evening, we went to Night of the Sharks — and apparently, the rays at the petting zoo really loved getting some attention from us. 😂

Today we explored Toronto on a Hop-On Hop-Off tour, went up the CN Tower and had a delicious meal near Chinatown.

The city is loud, busy and crowded — quite a change after all those quiet days on the road. But we really like the vibe and, especially, the people here.

One more day to go. 🇨🇦

Canada – Day 16: Lunenburg & Peggy’s Cove 🇨🇦

Our last day of backcountry riding — and honestly, this road trip has been so much fun. Not a single moment where we felt like there was nothing left to talk about. Taking such a long road trip together was definitely one of the best decisions. ❤️

We had a great dinner in Lunenburg, chilled on the warm rocks at Peggy’s Cove and soaked up the last bit of the day before heading to our hotel in Halifax.

But obviously, we needed one final stop: one of the biggest Walmarts in Nova Scotia. 😂 We were basically that “Europeans at Walmart” meme in real life. Hahahaha.

Canada – Day 14 🇨🇦

We started the day with a little stroll around downtown St. John before taking the ferry to Nova Scotia. ⛴️

Now we’re staying in a little cottage by the sea, close to Mavillette. No beach weather this afternoon, so we’re just chilling and enjoying the view from our cottage.

Hopefully, we’ll get to see the beach in all its beauty tomorrow morning. But honestly, the foggy weather has its own charm — moody, quiet and already feeling a little bit like Halloween. 🎃🌫️

Canada – Day 12, still PEI 🇨🇦

We’ve never spent this much time together in such a limited space — and somehow, we’ve never felt more connected. ❤️

Today was a rainy kinda day. We started off with a breakfast for champions and some kombucha at a local fermentary.

PEI, for us, is less about sightseeing and more about good food, local places and just slowing down.

Next up: another completely empty beach. 🌊

Oh Canada, you beautiful place — the land, the people, all of it. ❤️

Canada – Day 9: Louisbourg, Cape Breton 🇨🇦

Today we woke up early, left the hotel early and visited the Fortress of Louisbourg, where we learned a lot about the early days of Canada.

A lot of driving and a short stop at the beach left us pretty tired today. 😴

We’ll continue our granny lifestyle tomorrow, we are pretty saure that we‘ll be awake early again 👵😂

Canada Day 6 - Montreal II 🇨🇦
Walked around downtown, had an excellent meal and visited the museum of illusions. We are excited because we will visit a metalshow in the evening.

Canada – Day 4 🇨🇦

Hiking: 10/10. Absolutely stunning. No notes. 🥾🍁

Ottawa: We arrived.
A man with no pants welcomed us in front of the hotel. The rest of the neighbourhood fully supported this decision.

We did not check in.
We did not sightsee.
We left.

Sometimes travelling is about exploring new places.
Sometimes it’s about knowing when you’ve seen enough. 😂

Ottawa: 0/10 tourist attractions seen.
One unforgettable first impression.
