Crunch time. Paris tickets move up to the next price bracket on November 1st.

Behind the scenes we’re chipping away. The line-up is nearly complete, and the details with venues, activities, new sponsors and ideas are taking shape.

Our first trip to Paris is looking smooth. So smooth we’re wondering why we waited this long to take the show there.

We all have a story and a photo to go with it. The tricky thing is finding a home to share these stories; now there is one.

This week in the WUN community, we’re letting those stories live their lives. In the app, we’re hosting five days of stories; you share one story a day each day this week. Wedding, non-wedding, serious, silly.

The stories you’d share over a b**r but never on your Instagram feed.

Why build a community app that's free for anyone, anywhere, whether or not you've ever been to WUN? A sponsor asked us that the other day, and we figure a few of you are wondering the same. (head to our website, hit Log in, and you're in)

We could give the formal business answer. Let's talk about pets instead.

What you're looking at here are pets belonging to people in this community, all posted in Furry Lovers, one of the many spaces in the app. Some of these animals are no longer with us, some are very much still around. We'd never have known about them without the app. Same goes for the concert photographers in here, the eclectic playlists, the opinions on AI, the people making cyanotypes at home, the singles (yes, there's a space for that), and plenty more.

In the ten days since it went live there's been more sharing and more real connection than the Facebook group has managed in years. That's our own fault, although we're like you: hard to open Facebook without feeling you're selling off a piece of your soul.

So here's the ask. Start an account and post something. A selfie. The banger photo from this season you're thinking of entering into the WUN Awards. A travel photo you love. A song you've had on repeat all week. A guilty pleasure, a confession. It doesn't have to be your best work, it just has to be you. It's a safe space in there, and now it's ours to share. Post anything and you'll be surprised what comes back.

There's a whole industry of wedding creatives scattered all over the world with nowhere that belongs to them. Now there's somewhere, and we are on a mission to bring everyone together.

It's coming to the App Store soon, and there's plenty still to be released. The paint isn't dry because we're still painting. Come and be part of what gets built.

Things are happening. This is the fun part of planning, where the line-up starts growing and you can feel what the event is going to be.
As we talk to people about presenting, one thing we’re upfront about while they decide whether to take part: we want the focus on how the beautiful work actually gets made. A peek behind the creative curtain.
We normally lean hard into business, marketing and the practical stuff. Paris turns that on its head. We can’t wait to watch these presenters show us how the sausage gets made.
Ticket prices go up at the end of the month. Save yourself some euros if you’re on the fence, and let’s all get our art on next May in Paris.

A few days ago the ticket price was due to go up. We pushed it back, because we'd rather as many of you as possible got in at the same price.

The reason it's going up at all is what's happening behind the scenes. Paris is coming to life, and the planning is the part we love. If we hit our goals, details start rolling out on November 1st.

The increase comes after that. Between the line-up coming together and, well, Paris, we have a feeling you'll want to be there. Grab your ticket before then and the difference covers dinner somewhere along Canal St-Martin.

We’ve been moving fast lately. Time to slow down and give a few things the attention they deserve.

Starting with Portugal. If you saw the gathering we hosted there a few weeks back, you were probably wondering how you get in on something like that.

We almost kept it a secret, which goes against everything you’re supposed to do. But that quieter, insider approach is here to stay. More gatherings like Portugal are coming, and most of them won’t be announced.

There are two ways in.
