There are moments in life that don't just take your breath away - they give something back to your soul.

Watching the great migration across the plains of the Serengeti... thousands of wildebeest and zebras moving as one, driven by instict, courage, survival and the smell of rain in the air. Dust rising beneath their hooves, the sounds of life echoeing across the endless plains, .. the bark of the wilderbeast, the calls of the zebras... its raw, real and humbling beyond words.
Thirst overcomes the fear of crocodiles, lions and other predators, creating a frenzy as they soak up the treasured water.

In this moment, you don't just see nature at its best, but you feel the energy, the untamed power... This isn't just magic but a gift of life from mother nature. I continually pinch myself to be in the moment...

We time our Serengeti experience each year to coincide with the migration. Last two years we were so excited to have the herds right below our Safari Lodge.

Happy birthday to one of my most treasured photography friends, who we have shared so many great adventures together..
One year ago today she was doing the balloon ride over the migration on the Serengeti.
I am sure, Catherine had a birthday of a lifetime, so we replayed this video today as we sung happy birthday to Catherine

Such an enjoyable morning with like-minded photographers from IPhotographMagic.
Steve Noble came up with his great idea of doing a city walk, to capture suitable images to create a MEAN BLUR effect in photoshop.
An easy process, which we will be posting the tutorial for and creating a Zoom for those whoe wish to join.
