What a lovely moment to capture. I love the softness this warm light brings to this newborn baby session. It is gentle, soft and the baby loves the low light to have a snuggle on mum's shoulder. I can't wait to do more of this gentle lighting set-up soon.

This baby is so sweet. Newborn babies love this curled up pose! It's not different to the way they are when they are in the womb. To capture this style of pose, it is best to photography between 7-12 days old. Saying that, babies have their own agenda. I just go with the flow and photograph them doing what they love on that day.
