The weather might have been threatening all day, but nothing was going to dampen Carly & Corey’s wedding at the beautiful Barrister Block Winery. 🥰

With the rain looming, the ceremony was moved indoors — and honestly, what a gorgeous space for it. Warm, intimate and filled with some absolutely wonderful people, it ended up feeling like exactly where everyone was meant to be.

And then, just when we thought the day couldn’t get any more memorable… a couple of Shetland ponies and a donkey decided to pay us a visit in the dead of night. 😂🐴

A little unpredictable, a whole lot of fun, and such a beautiful day for Carly & Corey. ❤️

Yesterday was Dharav’s big moment! 💍🌊

With Nirijhari in town, there was really no better time to make things official — so Dharav chose the stunning cliffs and coastline of Pt Willunga Beach, with Gull Rock making a pretty spectacular backdrop for the proposal. ❤️

There was just one tiny problem with the whole surprise part… apparently Nirijhari already knew it was coming. 😂

Still, knowing there might be a ring involved doesn’t make the moment itself any less special. A gorgeous afternoon by the ocean, two very happy people, and a brand new fiancée! 🥰

A little behind-the-scenes look at how the shot comes together 📸✨

Nighttime. Church glowing in the background. The newlyweds in position… and an entire wedding guest list recruited as my backdrop. 😂

There’s always a bit of directing, shuffling, light checking and enthusiastic waving involved before everything lines up just right — but when it does, the result is worth the chaos.

Sometimes wedding photography is less “quietly documenting the moment” and more “conducting 80 people in the dark while holding a camera.” 😅

All part of the fun.

Elder Park Rotunda Proposal – Lauren & Enrique

There is nothing more ridiculously exciting about photographing a proposal when only a tiny handful of people know what is about to happen. Every person strolling past suddenly looks suspicious, every couple walking in your direction might be the couple, and you become strangely talented at pretending you are absolutely not waiting around with a camera for something important to happen....

Capturing Enrique’s proposal to Lauren under the lights of the Elder Park Rotunda required a little more than just turning up with a camera…

There was hiding. There was sneaking. There was some highly questionable ninja-level manoeuvring around Adelaide at night. 😂
All while trying to stay completely invisible until Enrique dropped to one knee.

Lauren had an idea it was happening, but I managed to capture the whole thing without blowing my cover.

Lara & Simon’s wedding at the gorgeous little Keyneton Soldier's Memorial Hall was such a beautifully relaxed day. ❤️

With threatening skies hanging around all afternoon, we made the most of every dry moment — from their intimate ceremony in the neighbouring church to wandering amongst the old heritage buildings and beautiful Australian gum trees for photos.

These two wanted their wedding to feel cruisey, personal and centred around the people they love rather than a huge production, and that’s exactly what it became. Good w**e, heartfelt speeches, plenty of laughs and a room full of family and friends enjoying each other’s company.

A wonderfully understated Barossa wedding in a setting that suited Lara & Simon perfectly. 🌿🍷

Yesterday with Lara & Simon 🤍

Tucked away at the gorgeous little Keyneton Soldiers Memorial Hall and Independent Chapel, this was one of those wonderfully relaxed weddings that felt completely removed from the rush of everything else.

Close family and friends, a beautiful little chapel, plenty of laughs, a laid-back country vibe… and some remarkably well-timed dodging of the rain. 🌧️😂

Sometimes the best weddings are the ones a little off the beaten track — intimate, uncomplicated and completely about the people who matter most.

Sometimes it’s trembling hands, a dress hem lifted without being asked, or two people laughing when the weather refuses to cooperate.

Mia and Roberto found the loveliest pocket of sunshine for their intimate Adelaide Registration Office Wedding! 💍✨

We began with a gorgeous first look beneath the Moreton Bay fig trees in Botanic Park, followed by a whirlwind portrait session through Adelaide Botanic Garden. After their sweet, laughter-filled ceremony, we finished with stylish photos inside Adelaide Arcade and around the C*D.

A beautiful couple, a joyful little entourage and so much variety packed into one fabulous Adelaide wedding day—even the parking ticket was worth it! 🌿🥂

Soon after I photographed this wedding, the groom passed away from cancer. Their son was only one.

Those photographs became more than memories of a wedding day. One day, they will help a little boy see how his dad held him, how his parents looked at one another, and how much joy they found together—even while time was running out.

Sometimes photographs become part of a family’s history before we realise how precious they will be.
