We currently have several PUPPIES in need of safe, loving foster homes while they wait to find their forever families. Could you open your heart and home to one of them?

We have dogs needing to get out of the pound as well as private surrenders waiting!

This is something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time now and I’m so excited to finally introduce…

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐞

Some foster pets end up waiting months, sometimes even longer, for their forever homes. The Rescue Spotlight Package was created to help those animals get the extra attention they deserve and give them a better chance of being noticed.

These complimentary photography sessions are available to approved rescues for pets who have been in care for 3 months or longer and are struggling to be adopted. The goal is to capture beautiful images that show off their personality and help them stand out to potential adopters.

And it’s not just for dogs — all rescue animals are welcome. The photos can be used by rescues to promote their animals, and future adopters will also have the option to purchase the images as a special keepsake.

The rebrand is officially here 🤍

I’m so excited to introduce the new name of my photography business:

Hills & Hounds Photography

While the name and branding have changed, the heart behind my work hasn’t. I’m still the same photographer capturing the personalities, connections and special moments you share with your pets

This new chapter reflects how my style has grown and the direction I want to take my photography moving forward, with a stronger focus on incorporating natural landscapes into my work

Along with the new name, I’ve launched a brand new website and introduced new session packages, making it easier than ever to explore what I offer

At the heart of it all is the same mission:
Honouring pets through art and nature 🌿🐾

It’s official… a new chapter is coming.

Over the past few months I’ve been working quietly behind the scenes on a rebrand. While the name and look of the business are changing, the heart behind it isn’t. I’m still the same photographer capturing the moments, personalities and stories you love about your pets.

This change simply reflects how my style has evolved and the direction I want to take my photography moving forward.

There’s nothing quite as satisfying as watching a working dog switch on. This shot might be one of my favourites yet — a perfect little standoff between dog and stock, full of focus, instinct and personality. Photos that tell a story will always have my heart, and this one definitely does.

Meet Shadow

Shadow is one of those dogs you meet and instantly fall in love with. His temperament, drive, personality, and beautiful structure are truly something to admire. I first met him about six years ago at my family’s dog daycare, , while I was helping out during the school holidays. It was also the very beginning of my photography journey, armed with my very first “real” camera, a Nikon D5200. (Swipe to see some throwbacks!)

Recently, Shadow was diagnosed with bone cancer in his hock. This means no more daycare adventures, running, or rough play — as his bones are now more fragile and prone to injury.

When his wonderful owners agreed to a photoshoot, I was so grateful. It was one last chance for him to play, explore, and be captured just as he is — a truly handsome boy, heading into a chapter filled with love, treats, and well-earned rest.
