Some common questions regarding transferring your video tapes to USB and/or DVD
1) Do you check the whole tape to make sure everything is transferred?
Yes, each tape no matter if it's to DVD or video file for a USB is checked in full - no memory will be forgotten.
2) What if I am not sure what's on my tape?
We check every tape - if it's just full of TV shows/movies or blank, there is no charge.
3) What if my tape has family movies and TV shows on the same tape?
If we are transferring your tapes to video files for a USB we will trim off any unwanted footage at no extra cost. A transfer to DVD will contain the full footage from a tape.
4) My tape is very short - Will I have to pay the full rate for only a few minutes?
If your tape is under 15 minutes in length, we reduce the price! We want your memories to be affordable and accessible.
5) The last time I saw my tape it didn't look very good - will you check it first before transferring?
Yes, if we spot any major issues that may result in an unsatisfactory result - we will contact you before completing the transfer.
6) Can you send me a preview of my tape so I can decide if I want it transferred?
We sure can, we are happy to send you some screenshots of your tape so you can let us know if you would like it converted to digital.
7) My tape looks damaged, can you fix it?
A broken tape housing can be replaced, we can even clean mould and remove moisture to ensure you get a satisfactory result from your old tapes.
