Update:
So decided to bite the bullet and finally change make a name change, a small step in the creative goal. The past year and a bit has been a lot of self-reflection for myself.
I’ve lived most of my life as an agreeable person, most times to fit in, other times just to avoid being an inconvenience. Stepping out of this has made me really question what do I believe in and stand up for?
I’ve thought about this over the past year and a bit and this is what came to mind:
Hold true in your own journey of seeking purpose and a sense of being in this world. Don’t conform and waste your youth, making choices out of fear disguised as practicality.
You’ll only bury yourself into a maze created by yourself. It’s never too late to take action and responsibility for the mistakes you’ve made, because it’s not the mistake you made, it’s what you learn from them.
