When I’m not photographing love stories, I’m hunting for the best sourdough, painting in quiet moments, slow cooking meals, gathering community, and lighting way too many candles.

Despite the crisp, winter air enveloping the Adelaide Hills, the summit of Mount Lofty glowed with warmth and love as Jonne and Tim exchanged their vows. Their wedding was a beautiful celebration, a radiant beacon in the winter landscape, and a heartwarming homecoming for family and friends.

The panoramic views, usually a summer spectacle, took on a magical, ethereal quality in the winter light, with the city sparkling below and the hills draped in soft, cool tones. Amidst this breathtaking winter scene, Jonne and Tim’s love shone brightly.

Jonne, a vision of elegant Filipina beauty, radiated warmth and grace. Her makeup, a natural, glowing finish, by Gale Dy perfectly complemented her stunning ivory gown with delicate lace details, and her smile lit up the chilly air. Tim, looking dapper in his black tailored suit, stood beside her, his happiness palpable.

10 years of capturing love stories and counting … Thank you 2024 and all the couples families and friends, collaborative network of suppliers I share this amazing journey with!

No highlight reel, only quiet moments of living behind the camera and what truly allows me to capture moments - experiencing love and life itself.

In real wedding days there are no scripts , no heads-up, the moments arrive and I walk towards them, peeling the layers through my lens.

My 14 year old self lived with this wisdom from little prince “It is with the heart , that one can see rightly , what is essential is invisible to the eyes.” I live it my whole life now…and this is what I asked myself whenever I capture, what is essential to my couples? What do they value…. And most of the time it is the relationships. To understand them is to tap into being a mother, a friend , a daughter , empathising many worlds…. capturing not how it looks like but how it feels like .

So here’s what it is , capturing wedding days is attending like a friend who has witnessed your love story and all the drama 😂. You don’t need to perform in front of my lens, no need for perfection .we all get along with perfectly imperfect moments . I may carry with me the heaviest gears but surely the lightest heart and the deepest sense of seeing what truly matters. ❤️
