Through their PAWtrait sessions, Mark and the team at Photographyroom donate $30 from every registration to AWL.

Over the last 10 years they’ve raised an incredible $60,000 for animals in need! Helping us provide vulnerable animals with shelter, veterinary care and the second chances they deserve 🐾

This is a bit silly, but we think that the greyhound is the dog equivalent of the famous "Joline" from Dolly Parton's smash hit in 1973. Hear us out.

Dolly says the following about Joline - "Your beauty is beyond compare With flaming locks of auburn hair" Greyhounds with brindle coloured coats look like flames and in our opinion are the absolute pinnacle of beauty!

"Her smile is like a breath of spring." - HOW are greyhound smiles not the BEST smiles ever?

"With ivory skin" - Anyone ever loved a greyhound with white fur? It gets on everything, but we don't mind. It's dog glitter!

"...and eyes of emerald green" - Fun Fact: Greyhound babies are often born with blue, amber or green eyes, and in some very rare cases, can grow up to have green eyes!

Is your greyhound like Joline and perfect enough for art to be made about them?

In all seriousness though, for those who know about our in-studio "70's Saturdays", you will know we love Dolly Parton at the Photographyroom. We are so saddened to hear of her passing last week and have her in all of our favorite playlists! Dolly brought so much good to the world and like us, loved her dogs. Her "God Dog" Billy was a French Bulldog, and she was obsessed with him.

We want to thank you Dolly for all of the joy you have brought to our Saturdays at the Photographyroom, as well as every other part of our lives.
