Last night I won first place for the 2026 Barossa Industry awards ♥️

I feel so incredibly blessed, not because of a trophy but because of what this represents.

The unbelievable support of the best community I could have ever been surrounded by.
This business has been built on referrals and pure word of mouth.

I see all the beautiful people behind the businesses in the Barossa Valley and all their hard work and authenticity to lend a hand to one another. Keeping things local adds a value to services that clients sometimes may not recognize but we sure do. The loyalty in this region is irreplaceable.

Small businesses are backed by real people with real stories and sometimes hard circumstances, so having people in your corner from the industry means you’re not alone.

Praise God for all the abundance and joy He has brought into my life.

Thank you to my sweet mama, Cindy. I cry as I write this because I think about how she’s been my biggest supporter since the day I went full time. She lifted my head when at times I didn’t know how I would make this work but never doubted me for a minute. 5 years down the track she’s celebrating these wins as they are her own.

Thank you to both my sisters, Britt & Haley and brother in law, Austin for encouraging me and loving me through every season - business & personal.

I joke a lot about Dan, my brother in law / handy man / and Gardner. But in all seriousness, no idea is too crazy for him to help me with with my website & business in general. He offers his skill with grace and patience - please consider him if you need IT assistance.

Thank you more recently to my sweet partner, Matt I lost count of the amount of times he told me he was proud of me last night. We have big dreams and I can’t wait for our goals to be reality

And lastly but certainly not least, thank you to the best clients that trust me to deliver photographs of your most important days. I see each and every one of you , each message and “like” or “share” of my work.

I hope this post can be an encouragement to follow your heart with authenticity to your craft and connection with one another.

I saw a post that said
“Return to doing it for the love of it”

Ya know, that’s what it’s all about.
Same category of, “What would you do for free? Do that and don’t forget why you started along the way.”

I love people, I love celebrating, I love when people are happy. Weddings bring all these things together.

I started photography because I felt BIG feelings from a young age, and as i got older I wanted to keep those feelings safe in a jar.

The closest thing I could find to that jar was a camera.

I take photos every single day. And when I look through my camera roll, I use that time as a reflection of where I need to spend more time. When was the last time I took photos of a camping trip? A surf trip? Or with friends?

If the photos aren’t there, it shows that my time isn’t being spent there.

I’m not doing these activities FOR the photos, my photos are a result of the activities I’m doing FOR my heart.

Might write a book. Would you read it? lol

Anyways. Love you guys. Let’s be friends at your wedding.
