3 generations - grandparents/parents/grandchildren/3 family units/cousins/siblings. Extended family sessions are a lot. This family was just the best - so connected. Oh little Giovanni - 4 weeks old and the cutest little bundle of bub! There are many things I particularly enjoy about newborn sessions, the slow pace, the sweetest moments, the baby cuddles I get, the time and pace for real and authentic conversations......but also the way we all become the baby's mutual adoration committee. It's quite lovely to share in witnessing the new parents love on, dote on and adore their baby and we all just admire the sheer miracle that is all that they are, in existence, right there in front of us, all wrapped up in the most beautiful baby! The miracle of this is never lost on me.

Introducing Isabela and her new little sister Soleya. When a 2 year old sibling is involved in a newborn session you never know what you might get! Sibling shot nailed in 4 mins! Unheard of! So many sweet moments. It was gorgeous to witness this family's loving connection.

When the kids are all grown up, family photos are still super important. This session was celebrating so many things. Mum's birthday, mother's day, all the kids in the same country at the same time!!! We started a little different....with a few drinks at the pub first! We were definitely blessed with incredible light as the sun set!

February has been a blur! How are we already halfway through March! It's been a series of busy days and mix of projects lately. Headshots, family sessions at sunrise, fun events, corporate shoots and a collection of products for the body and the tummy!

A busy weekend ahead with 4 shoots between now and Saturday. Another sunrise family session too. It's a good option for families with really little ones and sunset is too late. Sunset is getting earlier and earlier by the day though. Autumn evenings rock for family photos.

Family photos because they become more precious over time. When the kids don't look like that anymore. When you looked so young and hot and couldn't see it at the time. When someone in the family is no longer with us!!! That's when you are truly thankful you made the family photos happen!
