I'm seeing a shift to more finished, ready to enjoy, products. Not only are albums making a big come back, so are ready to hang prints

I think we've all realised that we never find the time to work out which ones and what to do once we get 'just the Digitals'.

There is a new appreciation for the ease of frames arriving ready to display, the comforting experience of revisiting the family silliness and story as you flick through an album with little ones

I see the shift and I love it!

If you have old shoots, digital files you never printed from any photographer let me know if you want help to sort through the chaos and get your story off a hard drive šŸ¤

"I just don't know where to start, Anita from Cocoon studio was incredible on my introduction to photography course. Her talent and expertise are second to none. I am so glad I was able to learn from her as her quality of work is amazing.

For someone who has been out of work for some time whilst having my children, I have decided to follow a passion and dream of mine that I have had for many years. Due to lack of confidence and knowledge this was made very difficult, and I didn't know where to start. I came across Anita's course and even before I had proceeded with anything, she was on hand to help with any questions and point me in the right direction when purchasing a camera. This was all done without any payment and just her kindness to help me at a time I was feeling extremely overwhelmed.

The introduction to photography course is so easy to follow and I love how hands on it is, being a visual learner, this suited me so well. After just two hours with her on the first day I couldn't wait to get home and put my new knowledge to practise. Anita made me feel so comfortable and had no judgement when I really didn't know where to begin. I also loved that it was a one on one course and Anita was able to give her full attention to me. She really is a natural at making people feel at ease, after just two sessions I felt like we had known each other for years.

Anyone wanting to learn photography should take this course, you won't regret it. I am already thinking of taking up another course with Anita as it really is worth every dollar."

3 generations - grandparents/parents/grandchildren/3 family units/cousins/siblings. Extended family sessions are a lot. This family was just the best - so connected. I hope you can 'hear' the fun we were having in these photos. Smiles to camera are great but what I really LOVE is everyone just mucking around!

Oh little Giovanni - 4 weeks old and the cutest little bundle of bub! There are many things I particularly enjoy about newborn sessions, the slow pace, the sweetest moments, the baby cuddles I get, the time and pace for real and authentic conversations......but also the way we all become the baby's mutual adoration committee. It's quite lovely to share in witnessing the new parents love on, dote on and adore their baby and we all just admire the sheer miracle that is all that they are, in existence, right there in front of us, all wrapped up in the most beautiful baby! The miracle of this is never lost on me.

Introducing Isabela and her new little sister Soleya. When a 2 year old sibling is involved in a newborn session you never know what you might get! Sibling shot nailed in 4 mins! Unheard of! So many sweet moments. It was gorgeous to witness this family's loving connection.

When the kids are all grown up, family photos are still super important. This session was celebrating so many things. Mum's birthday, mother's day, all the kids in the same country at the same time!!! We started a little different....with a few drinks at the pub first! We were definitely blessed with incredible light as the sun set!
