15 years on, and I still think one of my favourite parts of newborn photography is watching people get to know their baby. 🤎

Watching two people navigate this brand new little person who has suddenly become their whole world. Learning their noises, figuring out what they need, and instinctively pulling them in for just one more cuddle.

When you're in those early days, I think it's so easy for it all to become a bit of a blur.

What a blessing to have a job that leaves me smiling every day. X

Heartache has a way of reminding us of the value of photographs. Sometimes before it’s too late. Sometimes after.

For some of my clients, they’ve spent years waiting for the baby they’re finally holding in their arms. They want to document everything — to bottle up every tiny detail because they know just how much it took to get here.

For others, it’s watching the people they love grow older and realising that one day, photos may be all they have left to hold onto.

And maybe that’s when we truly understand the power of a photograph.

It’s not just about how you looked.

It’s proof that you were there.
That they were here.
That this moment existed.

You know what I hear all the time?

"I have so many photos of my baby with everyone else... but hardly any with me."

And it breaks my heart.

You spent nine months growing your baby. You brought them into the world. Those first few weeks together are some of the most beautiful, fleeting moments you'll ever experience, and you deserve to be in those memories too.

Don't get me wrong—bless the dads. They try. ❤️ But they don't always see what we see. They don't know the angles, the light, or how to gently pose you in a way that helps you feel confident while your body is still healing.

That's where I come in.

My job isn't just to photograph your baby. It's to capture your connection—the way they fit perfectly in your arms, the way they look at you, the tiny moments you'll miss before you even realise they're gone.

I want to take the pressure off you and create photographs that, years from now, remind you just how deeply you loved each other from the very beginning.

Because one day, these won't just be your favourite photos.

To the mum who almost didn't book her maternity photos... 🤍

The one who keeps saying, "I don't think I'd like how I look in photos right now."

The one who doesn't quite feel like herself anymore.

The one who looks in the mirror and notices the swelling, the stretch marks, the changing body... instead of the incredible life she's growing.

Can I tell you something?

One day, your baby will ask what it was like before they were born.

These photographs will be part of that story.
They won't see the things you've spent months worrying about. They'll see the home that kept them safe. The hands that protected them before they ever took their first breath. They'll see the excitement, the anticipation and the love that surrounded them long before they arrived.

And here's what I want you to know...

You don't need to know how to pose. You don't need to worry about what to wear. And you certainly don't need to wait until you feel more beautiful.

That's my job.

I'll guide you every step of the way, choosing the most flattering light, angles and poses, so you can simply enjoy the experience. My goal is for you to look at your gallery and see yourself the way your loved ones already do... beautiful, strong and full of love.

Because pregnancy isn't about looking a certain way.

It's about becoming someone's whole world.
