I just typed a few words about my photography session with the beautiful Kitson family... but then I read Alana Kitson's take on the day and figured that it'd serve me well to just cut and paste her lovely words (thanks so much Alana):
" For Mum's 60th birthday last year, we promised to do a family photoshoot at a time that worked well for all of us. This past Saturday was the day!

Mum wanted to keep it casual and have it in a park close to our family home, where we spent a lot of time as kids, and where Nanny and Pa now often take the grandkids.

With 11 people spanning three generations and a range of personalities, going for 'casual in a park' was a good approach! Dusty Cowgirl Designs was the right one for the job! She was prepared to take on our family and did so beautifully.

She worked with Mum before the day to organise the areas of the park that would be best suited for the photos. Her communication was excellent, and she even started half an hour early with late notice (as in 'the morning of'!) when the weather was looking a little shaky on Saturday.

One of the things we appreciated the most was Fiona's flexibility and preparedness to take a whole range of photos and combinations in the 1.5 hours - this is not something that every photographer offers. Thankfully, Fiona does.

Needless to say, Mum is super happy, and the photos have come up a treat. This is a small selection of the 150 Fiona has provided!

I am so grateful that this family is mine - we genuinely love each other, enjoy hanging out and support each other to the hilt.
