Mt Wellington road closed at the Springs, so headed off up the pinnacle track, then on to the Organ pipes track, and then down to Pinnacle road across the otherside, hoping to find the track that led to Kara hut,/ went down Hunters track, hoping to find it there, unable to find it so carried on to Junction Hut, then headed back to the Springs past Lone cabin, and Rock cabin

Attempted to reach Tarn shelf, from lake Dobson, snow pretty deep in places, but got up to the last leg of the climb, to Snow Gum track head, and the track was impassable, while contemplating whether to go up the long way to Mason plateau, a heavy snow shower started, fearing white out conditions, I returned to Lake Dobson.

Pretty uneventful climb up to Marion's lookout, head was in the clouds before I even reached the chains, climbing up chain track, (aka cardiac hill ) Marion's was devoid of snow, found a new tarn not far from Wombat pool, and the last of Cradle Valley looking towards Waldhiem.
