Foot has started to improve, able to go to Akaroa, to do the Montgomery Peak walk, a short climb up to the giant Totara tree, said to be at least 1000 years old maybe 2000, then up to the summit walkway return.

The first time we have had 5 or more perfect weather days whilst in En Zd, and unable to do any serious hiking, but at least able to hobble along, out to near Beacon point to catch the sunrise over lake Wanaka.

Due to a foot injury, I'm unable to get up on the mountains in en zd, this year so, had to get on a bike instead, (yes I did cheat used a e bike), but unlike some people I've seen, I did pedal all the way along Shot Over gorge, and back to Queenstown,
