Hello my friends 👋

I have let a few people down recently due to not responding to messages on time.

Obviously this is nowhere near good enough, both from my point of view and all of you as customers.

I’m going to look at implementing an online booking system so that customers can book in or reschedule for a few months ahead.

This will be arranged in slots of beach, Kuitpo and studio sessions.

I’m genuinely sorry if I have missed some of your messages 😳

End of Life Photography.

Celebration of Life (End of Life) photoshoot.

This one is for Raven.

I was contacted by the beautiful Lauren who was heartbroken, knowing that she was going to have to say goodbye to her best friend of 14 years.

We both shuffled and moved appointments around, and arranged to meet on a very windy day at Henley.

Lauren and her family tucked in for their last family photos with Raven. They kissed her little face, held her ears, cuddled and nuzzled her and made sure that she felt loved and adored.

In Lauren’s words:

“14 years, a whole lifetime with you by my side.

My shadow. My constant. The kids’ best friend. You were woven into every part of our life.

You were there through everything. The hard days, the beautiful days, the babies, the tears, the laughter. You have never left my side.

& now I had to let you go.

I don’t know how to do life without you beside me. Coming home without you here, Looking for you and knowing you won’t be there.

My heart is absolutely shattered. We will look for you in every rainbow, every star & remember you every second of every day.

Goodbye, my beautiful Raven. Thank you for giving me a lifetime of you, my best friend 🤍”

Raven passed peacefully a few hours after this photoshoot.

Thank you to you, Lauren for asking me to capture these moments for you.

It was a pleasure to meet you, beautiful Raven.

A very good and close friend of mine has suggested today that I could potentially open a new business page, specifically where I share my thoughts, feelings, rants and brain farts.

From a trusted friend’s perspective, her concerns are that I could be losing bookings through being very personal, rather than professional. And it’s something that I have wondered myself, as my business has been very slowly in recent months.

As a lot of you on this page have booked in with me previously (hence the reason why you are here), I’d really like to know if my honesty sometimes is a deterrent to booking in with me, and if I am more negative than positive?

And if so, would a new page be a good idea?

I’m asking because I obviously respect my friend’s opinion immensely, and I also respect all of yours.

Please be truthful.
