8 years married today. Two kids, one dog, and a lovely mortgage.

Marriage has been happy, hard, easy, exhausting… sometimes all in the same week. It’s a bit like a roller coaster — big highs, the occasional stomach-dropping low — but you’ve always got someone next to you in the carriage (I feel like I saw this line in a movie.... Parenthood?)

I am extremely lucky that my job lets me witness that same kind of commitment again and again. Being invited in to photograph weddings means seeing something real: the messy, beautiful, deeply human side of love, surrounded by the people who matter most.

It’s a pretty special thing to be part of.

⚡🌧️When life gives you rain, you make bubbles...🍾🥂
And a giant bottle of Champagne

A few favourites from Jaimie and Michaels summer wedding in Port Elliot where the rain just wanted to see the magic unfold. But this did not phase the couple in the slightest, or their hype team who all just embraced the drizzle only to be met with glorious sun as soon as the bubbles began to flow.

Just got my scans back from A&J wedding and I am in loveeeeee. Shot over several cameras using and a

I now shoot 2 rolls at every wedding - usually it's colour but the mood board had a lot of B&W so I went with both. The day was so relaxed and allowed for plenty of time at each moment meaning I was able to put a little more thought into the film side. And what a treat they turned out to be 🩷

🖤 Simply perfection 🖤

A little sneak peek from Amanda & Josh’s Friday wedding. Every detail was thoughtfully planned and executed to perfection. With incredible food, delicious wine (carefully picked by JP and AF), and friends who felt more like family, the room was filled with so much love and an energy that was truly buzzing. I have so much to share from this incredible day but that will come later - this is just another fine example of how you can make your wedding a true reflection of you and your partner and what you both love, live and breathe without having to stick to a format or tradition.

An absolute powerhouse. From keeping guests comfortable through wild weather to personally driving people to their cars through the mud — she and her incredible team didn’t miss a beat. When the ceremony moved inside, it was already perfectly set. A true hospitality pro. And the venue? French provincial charm, lush gardens, dreamy views.

Penelope came prepared for anything — including a trolley of umbrellas (iconic). Legal vows under the tree by Steve’s custom arch, then the love story continues inside as the storm hit. Best of both worlds (because there is no written rule that you can't split up the ceremony, I thought this was brilliant)

Gahhhh - I just adored these two. Cinephils, funny, kind, hospitable, creatives, Romantics and effortlessly laid-back. Jen & Steve centred their day on their people — letting everything else unfold naturally.

PORT WILLUNGA micro wedding

While spending my last days of holidays down at Port Willunga abd it's glorious scenery - it took me back to this micro wedding of J&L ⚡❤️

Small ceremony down at the jetty, photos on the beach and celebrations held at the infamous restaurant with its jaw dropping views- it was the perfect set up for these two. A few hours coverage, relaxed vibes, cocktails, fun times and keeping it short and sweet - this was perfection for these two.

PS. Special mention to an excellent hype team who joined in for portrait photos - they were all tens

⚡⚡ELOPEMENT⚡⚡

The beauty of keeping it small: no pressure — just presence.

In the quiet of the mysterious caves, surrounded only by their two witnesses and celebrant , these two love birds promised each other forever - I cried, they cried, the cave man cried. It was beautiful.

We took some romantic portraits, followed by bubbles and we all enjoyed an intimate dinner together that night with the two witnesses - who were close friends (the groom was a childhood friend of my husband's so Julian and the kids also joined in for tea)

Kas & Rhys it was an absolute honour to capture something so personal and unique (I've never shot in the caves before!) and I can't wait to share more.

PS proof that the small things don't matter! Kas left her bouquet at the accommodation, so opted for some weeds as a make-shift while she entered the cave. It was a comic relief and quick thinking (as it can fell weird not holding onto anything for your entrance) nailed it.
