Zoë and Shannon invited me a year and a half ago to photograph their wedding. And a year and a half on they are about to welcome their first baby into the world.

I cannot tell you how much being invited to do this meant to me.

To be honest it’s kind of awakened my next step for Simon John Photography and I can’t wait to formally share it with you over the next few weeks.

My amazing wife gets out of bed everyday and faces screaming, crying, laughter, hunger and everything in between, and on top of all that she manages to nurture and grow a baby girl inside of her.

When I married you I knew I’d love you forever. I just had no idea, after you gave me the gift of our children, just how much.

A lot of you may not know this but my wife is the reason I became a wedding photographer, the reason I started releasing music, the reason why I pushed myself to change careers and be a better father, all because she believed in me to do all those things and supported me.
