On-location & Studio Light. setting burns 110 hours at 150 lumen At full power 10000 lumen, Dive Star torch produces uniform 120 deg (FWHM) light, 2,000 Lux at 1 meter, 120 Lux at 4 meters. Dive Star 10k light output is an equivalent to the output of 500W tungsten light bulb with reflector, but only using 20% of electrical power. This is as green as it can possibly be in 2013. By suppor
ting this project on http://indiegogo.com (pending) you will support further developments of greener lighting solutions. I would also like to hear from people who can take this type of lighting (80% power savings) to the government institutions, to the councils, schools, body corps, tennis centers, shopping centers around Australia (and overseas). I Primarily designed DiveStar for diving video and photography but I am designing a Land Video and Photography (LandStar), being encouraged by many people who have seen DiveStar in action. The usage is not limited by the above I also use this light for fixing things around the house (because I have it handy and it is small enough) but there are no limits of where it can be used, e.g. camping, emergency lighting, cave diving (burn time of 4.5 days 24/7 at 150 lumen read below), SES services, police crash and crime sites, factories / buildings perimeter lighting, highly portable combat light, aviation …. whatever you can think of, DiveStar can fill the dark spots with light ….. Full of special features that can be found at http://divestar.com.au
and also http://indiegogo.com project (pending). For more info visit http://divestar.com.au
Please, use "like" this page to be informed on the further developments,
Support this project on http://indiegogo.com, search for DiveStar (most likely will start on 18 Dec 2013) ....... :)
Cheers
