Capturing the soul of the Great Southern music scene. 🎶

On January 1st, I had the pleasure of photographing The Numbats during their set at Wilson’s Brewery Bar. There’s something special about the raw connection between a band and a local crowd, definitely a highlight of the year so far.

It was an absolute blast pulling double duty on Australia day 2025. Not only did I get to take the stage with my gorgeous wife as RnB Soul Train, but I also had the privilege of capturing the magic from behind the lens.

Huge thanks to the City of Greater Geraldton, the sponsors, and the incredible stage crew at 65Thirty Events & Entertainment for making everything run so smoothly.

We were honored to share the lineup with some serious talent:

Heading Home – A fantastic local trio of sisters.
The Frauds – Perth-based pop/rock legends.
Shmoné – The "one-man band" maestro, performing this time with his WA trio.
