Kuwaripangka Mungawaluru (Before Sunset) is a special exhibition by the women artists of Iwantja Arts at Outstation Gallery in Darwin 🌞

Pictured is the powerful collaborative painting between senior Iwantja Artists Emily Cullinan, Maringka Burton, and Daisy Barney. This collaborative painting brings together the knowledge, lived experience, and artistic voices of these three senior Yankunytjatjara and Pitjantjatjara women. Emily, Maringka, and Daisy are respected cultural leaders of the Indulkana Community and throughout the APY Lands.

Created through a shared process of conversation, memory, and mark-making, this painting reflects the strength of collective practice and the enduring importance of women working together.

Wonderful to see my images being used to promote the town I love 🧑

We've always known it and now Australian Traveller agrees. Alice Springs has been named one of Australia's Top 100 Best Towns! πŸŽ‰

Celebrated for our festivals and events, this one belongs to the whole community. From the Bangtail Muster and Finke Desert Race to Red Centre NATS, Fab Alice, the West Macs Monster, Parrtijma and the best Regional Show in Australia. Our events calendar is like nowhere else in the country.

This is what happens when a community shows up for itself, year after year. Proud of everything this town is and everything we're building together.
