Tradies Day, 11 April and Kerry's stable was everywhere from the first race. Verbosity and Ianish Luximon won Race 1. Dolce D'Amour second in Race 2. Our Squamosa second in Race 3. Rewards And More third in Race 4. Dad Bod and Lek won Race 5. Venting and Lek won Race 7 with Our Couver third in the same race. Three wins and four placings on day one alone. The dominant force of the Carnival had spoken.
Ladies Day, 18 April and Kerry and Lek delivered a brilliant double. Bahama Bay won the Magic Millions BM76, with Tellez running third in the same race. Then Rewards And More and Lek saluted again in The Soldier Lightning. Five Carnival winners from just two meetings.
ANZAC Day, 25 April; Our Squamosa placed third in the CKS Electrical Handicap. Then Venting and Lek produced a courageous second in the Chief Minister's Cup behind Wolfburn. A force to be reckoned with on every race day.
Pioneer Sprint Day, 2 May; Grinzinger Tundra third. Collison second. The Girl's Boy and Stan Tsaikos won the BM76 Handicap. Rewards And More ran third in the Pioneer Sprint. The stable never stopped delivering.
Cup Day, 4 May — Kerry came out swinging. Black Zous and Ianish won Race 2 with Dad Bod and Lek second in the same race. Our Squamosa second and Price Share third in Race 4. Bahama Bay and Lek won the Red Centre Classic with Throw At Da Stumps second for Ianish. Anphina second and The Accelator third in the Paul Hassett Memorial.
Then Race 9. The $120,000 Ladbrokes Alice Springs Cup. Magic Defence. Stan Tsaikos. Taking out the win.
