⚽📸 Last but not least from the weekend, a special one for us.

Mia and Armidale City Westside took on TAS in their semi final, with Westside earning the win and keeping their season alive.

It was a bittersweet result. TAS have had a fantastic 2026 season and brought plenty of quality, competitiveness and sportsmanship every time they took the field. We have no doubt they will be back strong in 2027.

For Westside, there is still more football to come. This weekend they will be back out there fighting for a place in the Grand Final.

A pretty special game for me to capture from the sidelines with Mia out there in the middle of it all.

After navigating the busy netball courts, Mia switched gears and headed back to the soccer field for another round of action.

Soccer gives her a different challenge again, reading the play, anticipating where the action will unfold and finding those split second moments that tell the story of the game.

Another strong gallery from her as she keeps building confidence, experience and her own eye behind the camera.

🏐📸 First up from Mia’s weekend behind the camera - netball!

Mia was out capturing the action across the weekend, continuing to build her confidence, timing and eye for the moments that make community sport special.

First up is her netball gallery, with plenty of movement, intensity and great moments caught through her lens.

Netball also gave her a new challenge, navigating a busier environment with larger crowds, more movement around the court and plenty happening at once.

It’s been really exciting to watch her keep developing her own style and experience with every game she covers.

I was back on the microphone for the New England Rugby Union finals, while Mia was out and about around the grounds with the camera.

This weekend’s sneak peek takes us from the sideline microphone to the camera, with a quick interview with Federal Member Barnaby Joyce and a couple of standout moments from Mia across netball and soccer.

Different roles, different sports, plenty of stories to tell.

🎙️ A little behind the scenes from the commentary box!

Sharing my Folmac Video Productions introduction from the day, complete with a few early morning jitters and a touch of tongue tie.

Safe to say that disappeared pretty quickly once the games got underway and the footy action came alive at Bellevue Oval at Sportune.

A big shout out to agradesupps for keeping me warm in the hoodie too. Very much appreciated on a chilly New England morning!

Such a fun experience being part of the commentary team and getting to tell the story of New England Rugby Union in a whole new way.

Plenty more finals action still to come.
