ATTENTION ADELAIDE + TWO WELLS / SURROUNDS CLIENTS 🎄

In addition to my Arthurton studio Christmas minis, due to my Mothers Day minis being such a hit at Burton (booking out 5 dates within 24 hours) 🤩…
I am considering organising a couple of dates for outdoor sunset Christmas mini sessions this year!

I’ll be looking for a location or two around TWO WELLS / LOWER LIGHT and surrounds. If you have any ideas for a quiet public place with no houses / obstructions that I can set up - please comment here!

In the next couple of weeks I will spend the day scouting around as well 📸

The setup will be small hay bales, a Christmas tree and some cute decorations / props. I will be holding these in October / November, so think warm nights, golden hour and pure magic 🎄

These mini sessions are great for Christmas gifts, updating your family photos and if you’d like some photos that aren’t in front of the setup, we can step to the side for some non themed photos to get the best of both worlds, or you can pick one or the other!

I will only be offering 2-3 dates for these so if you’d like to secure one now, please send me a message, if it’s anything like Mother’s Day, these won’t last long!

It’ll be 15 minutes, 10 digital images, $295
$100 retainer required to secure your session, the remaining balance payable on the day.

You will receive your selections gallery of 180+ images to choose from within 24 hours. Final edited images will be provided within one week.

Photo is of my proposed setup, with a possibility of some little tweaks and rearrangements for improvements, once I’ve decided on a location / where the sun sets I may need to make a few small changes (anyone who’s booked, will be updated on)

Good evening everyone!

I’m just posting an update regarding Christmas minis as I have had a few enquires asking if I’m doing them again this year (ABSOLUTELY I AM!!) - I am doing (what I hope is my BEST setup yet) this year and I am hoping to have a setup photo in the next few weeks, if not by the end of next month with my new lighting and my kids photographed so you can see exactly what it’s like in action!

The theme is not a printed backdrop this year, it’s a real setup! So not as tightly crammed in either!
My farmhouse Christmas lounge room has inspired me..
An antique / off white fireplace mantle, candles, greenery across the top of the mantle with fancy little candle holders etc, a gorgeous pre-lit Christmas tree to one side, warm fairy lights and a gorgeous beige / cream rug. It’s going to be dreamy, warm and magical ✨

My new lighting will be a heap of LED panels fixed to the wall on the side of the setup, with sheer curtains coming down in front of the light to give a natural light window look.

I am SO excited to have all of this complete - my dad is working on a frame to fix the panels to the wall and I’m just hunting down the right size Xmas tree and we’re ready to go!

I just wanted to let my clients know as I’ve usually done some sort of Xmas ad by now, but there’s a fair bit of work going into this years - so it’s coming and it won’t be long!

I hope to see my regulars and new faces for Christmas this year

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything other than my work so I thought I better do a little intro for all of my new clients / followers.

Hi, I'm Carly.

Mum of three, hobby farmer and a newborn / family photographer residing on the beautiful Yorke Peninsula.

With a love for country life, golden sunsets, and the kind of moments that often go unnoticed until they're gone, I find joy in preserving the little pieces of life that become the biggest memories.
For the past 8½ years I've been capturing newborns and families in a way that feels natural, warm, and true to life.
These days you'll usually find me photographing families in my cosy studio or among paddocks, old farm gates, dusty tracks, and the beautiful chaos that comes with raising little ones.

If you're looking for photos that feel relaxed, honest, and timeless, I'd love to create something beautiful with you.

I know it’s only June .. but we all know how fast the months go by!

I will be doing Christmas minis again this year, and finally for the first time after 8 Christmas’s buying backdrops with mantels / fireplaces, I no longer have to purchase a printed backdrop, I will be setting up my own setting in one of my stone buildings with a mantel and christmassy things 😍

This will give more space and there will be more room for movement and some little upgrades that I’m currently working on!
