5330km across Australia on horseback? Heck yeah.

In this job, we’re lucky enough to meet some pretty cool people. Lovers from all over, who trust us to capture one of the most memorable days of their lives.

One very (very) cool couple we had the pleasure of meeting last year, was Nikki and Simon Nikki Tomsett - Horse Trekking Australia. Together with their six horses, they trekked across Australia from Healesville VIC to the QLD border before tying the knot.

But wait, it gets better! Nikki then decided to continue trekking post wedding and finish the National Trail, riding all the way to Cooktown in Far North QLD. Simon stayed home to look after the farm and their sweet dog Boab.

Last week, Nikki crossed the finish line in Cooktown. A monumental achievement! She completed the National trail solo, unassisted, and with no support vehicle. Unbelievable!

A big congratulations to you Nikki! And to your three trusty steeds!
